of Cantabria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Brown Bear Foundation (FOP), together with other nature conservation NGOs, maintains a <strong>permanent collaboration scenario with <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cantabria.es\/web\/consejeria-de-desarrollo-rural-ganaderia-pesca-y-biodiversidad\">Cothe Ministry of Rural Development, Livestock, Fiesheries, Food and Environment of the Government of Cantabria<\/a>, athrough a protocol signed in 2020<\/strong>, and within whose framework different actions are included, aimed at improving the conservation of the Cantabrian bear and its habitat, as well as its knowledge and social assessment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Some of these activities are carried out through the <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/cima.cantabria.es\/\">Centre for Environmental Research (CIMA)<\/a>. <\/u><\/strong> Tambi\u00e9n con el CIMA participamos en el <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/provoca.cantabria.es\/\">Programa Environmental Education and Volunteering Programme in Cantabria (PROVOCA)<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, thanks to which dozens of volunteers carry out important work in the fruit tree plantations for the bear organised by the FOP in this autonomous community<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Furthermore, within the framework of an agreement with the <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/cantur.com\/inicio\">Cantabrian Regional Society for Tourism Promotion, CANTUR S.A.<\/a><\/u><\/strong> attached to the <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cantabria.es\/web\/consejeria-de-innovacion-industria-turismo-y-comercio\">Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Innovation, Transport and Trade,<\/a><\/u> <\/strong> applied research actions have been developed on management with captive bears in the Cab\u00e1rceno Nature Park. <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parquedecabarceno.com\/siguenos\/ultimas-novedades\/1423-inauguramos-la-casa-del-oso#.Y4XcAXbMJPY\">The Bear House in the Cab\u00e1rceno Nature Park<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, inaugurated in October 2022, is also a result of this agreement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" FOP was the beneficiary of three grants from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.empleacantabria.es\/\">Cantabrian Employment Service<\/a><\/strong>, co-financed by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/esf\/home.jsp?langId=es\">European Social Fund<\/a><\/strong>, aimed at promoting permanent employment in the context of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic (Decree 57\/2021, of June 24).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6774 \" src=\"https:\/\/m.fundacionosopardo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/consejeria-y-fsc.jpg\"
