November 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 15 and 16, 2021, the final conference of the LIFE Amybear project \u201cImproving Human-Bear Coexistence Conditions in the Municipality of Amyntaio\u201d was held, combining a meeting in Amyntaio (Greece) and the online participation of specialists from other European projects. The conference has been organized by LEVER Development Consultants SA, coordinating entity of the project, together with the specialized NGO \u201cCALLISTO\u201d and the administrations of Epirus-West Macedonia and the municipality of Amyntaio (Greece).<\/p>\n<p>The objectives and proposals of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionosopardo.org\/projects\/proyecto-life-bears-with-future\/\">LIFE Bears with Future project<\/a>\u00a0were presented at the meeting, along with other projects recently developed by the Brown Bear Foundation, and the project coordinator has participated in a specific session on proposals and solutions to prevent conflicts between humans and bears addressing the forecasts of greater conflict in the face of the effects of climate change and the solutions proposed in the LIFE Bears with Future project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>More information:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/conference.lifeamybear.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/LIFE-AMYBEAR-CONFERENCE-Human-%E2%80%93-Bear-Coexistence_final.pdf\">https:\/\/conference.lifeamybear.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/LIFE-AMYBEAR-CONFERENCE-Human-%E2%80%93-Bear-Coexistence_final.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 15 and 16, 2021, the final conference of the LIFE Amybear project \u201cImproving Human-Bear Coexistence Conditions in the Municipality of Amyntaio\u201d was held, combining a meeting in Amyntaio (Greece) and the online participation of specialists from other European projects.
